Carbon Reduction Plan
Last updated: 28 May 2026
Commitment to achieving net zero
Envoy Partnership Ltd is committed to achieving net zero emissions across our operations and supply chain by 2035 at the latest. This target was formally adopted by the directors in May 2026.
Baseline emissions footprint
Envoy Partnership is a micro-business and this is our first Carbon Reduction Plan. We have not yet completed a measured emissions baseline. We will formalise measurement of our carbon footprint across business travel, office energy and IT procurement during 2026/27, which will establish our reported baseline year, and we will update and republish this plan at least annually thereafter.
Our operational profile supports a low starting point: we have no premises under our own control, no company vehicles, and have made no journeys by private car or air for business in the past twelve months, with all business travel by public transport. On this basis we assess our current position as follows.
Scope 1
0 tCO2e. We have no premises under our own control and no company vehicles.
Scope 2
Scope 3
To be measured in 2026/27. Dominated by business travel, which is entirely by public transport, and employee commuting, which is entirely by public or active travel.

Baseline Year
Current emissions reporting
Our first measured reporting year will be 2026/27, which will also serve as our baseline. Measurement will follow the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard, cover the subset of Scope 3 categories required by the WPPN 006 technical standard, and use the UK Government’s published emission conversion factors for company reporting current at the time.
Emissions reduction targets
- Net zero across our operations and supply chain by 2035 at the latest.
- Maintain zero Scope 1 emissions.
- Set science-aligned reduction targets against the 2026/27 baseline once established, with credible offsetting used only for residual emissions that cannot be eliminated.
- All contract-related travel by public transport, with rail as the default and no domestic flights.
- Annual measurement, review and republication of this plan.
Carbon reduction projects
Completed and Current Initiatives
- Public transport for all business travel over the past twelve months, with taxis used only for short local connections; no journeys by private car or air.
- Serviced offices with Fora, chosen in part for environmental performance: Fora procures 100% renewable electricity across the buildings where it controls energy purchasing, operates zero waste to landfill in its building operations, and has had its carbon footprint independently verified by Planet Mark for six consecutive years, measured to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and covering 100% of its supply chain emissions (Fora Annual Impact Report 2025).
- Hybrid working reducing commuting, with all staff commuting by public or active travel.
- Digital-first delivery of our services, with printing only where a client requires it.
Planned Initiatives
- 2026/27: formalise carbon footprint measurement across travel, office energy and IT procurement, establishing our reported baseline.
- 2027/28: address IT hardware, our largest remaining source: extend device replacement cycles, procure refurbished or high-repairability equipment as standard, and ensure end-of-life equipment is reused or recycled through certified WEEE channels.
- Adopt a sustainable travel policy formalising the rail-first rule and the taxi-only-for-short-distance exception.
- Introduce an annual staff commuting and homeworking survey to improve Scope 3 data.
Declaration and sign-off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with WPPN 006 and the associated technical standard, aligned to PPN 06/21. Emissions reporting from 2026/27 will cover the required subset of Scope 3 categories and use the published emission conversion factors current at the time. This plan has been reviewed and signed off by the directors of Envoy Partnership Ltd, is published on our website, and will be updated at least annually.
